Kingsley Coman was only on the pitch for five minutes before he was in clear discomfort in the Audi Cup Final against North-East London side Tottenham Hotspurs. Kicker’s Liverticker, their equivalent of our game thread, puts fans a little bit at ease when they wrote:
Coman runs on the edge of the field again relatively healthy, but Bayern does not want to take any chances. Mihaljevic comes into play.
At first, it looked like a sight Bayern fans had seen many times before. Coman did shake his head and looked frustrated that he could not play on but it is somewhat reassuring that he could walk without any problems.
Of course, there is a chance that Coman will miss a couple of days or even a week or two. What kicker says is not law, but it does reassure that it didn’t look too serious. With the naked eye, it didn’t look great but it was clear that he was walking without any clear signs of distress.
Kovac confirmed that it was, hopefully, not too serious:
Niko #Kovac on Kingsley #Coman: "We hope that it's not too bad and that he'll be back in the next few days. He picked up a knock, usually quite painful."#AudiCup pic.twitter.com/IUT2ayJpiu

BFW Analysis:
Depth is key.
Both Coman and Gnabry have picked up knocks in two days. Though it might not be serious, the fact that the season hasn’t started, and we are already writing news about possible injuries is worrying. Injuries will always happen, to any team. Bayern’s squad needs more players.
