Hansi Flick may be just what Renato Sanches needs at Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich’s public training session saw the first team put through their paces as preparation continues for the Bundesliga season. More than 2,000 fans showed up at Säbener Straße to watch Niko Kovac put the team through a rigorous training session.

Consisting of fitness and technical training, Kovac and the coaching staff ensured the two hours were used wisely. An opportunity for players to make their case for the first team, Renato Sanches appears to be enjoying life at Säbener Straße after a difficult start to his career in Munich.

Hansi Flick was captured by photographers interacting and smiling with Sanches, something Bild notes as being good for the midfielder. Perhaps the more direct-management approach could be beneficial to Sanches as he tries to make his mark in Munich this season.

Despite previous reports of a possible departure, the Portuguese international is aspiring to make the most of a fresh start at FC Bayern. Looking to prove his quality, Sanches could be on the the Croatians team-sheet in the near future.

Elsewhere at Säbener Straße, Thiago enjoyed training with his son Gabriel, who appeared to have scored past his father.
