Dembele prefers Barca over Bayern (Bild)
FC Barcelona winger is said to prefer his current club over a move to Bayern Munich. In fact, Bild is reporting that Dembele’s agent informed Bayern two weeks ago that he wants to establish himself at his dream club Barcelona, which is why he joined the team training seven days early.
O.Dembélé is currently not thinking about Bayern. As of now, the chance of him moving to Munich is more than slim. The Daily Mail had its own report that Bayern was looking to being in both Manchester City’s Leroy Sane and Dembele, which is completely absurd — but the piece did offer some insight as to what Bayern has bid on the players so far:
Bayern have reportedly already had a £62 million (€69 million) bid rejected by Barcelona for Dembele while City value Sane at £90 million (€100 million).
The Daily Mail’s Sane AND Dembele report comes on the heels of yesterday’s “Bayern is going to sign Sane and Lille’s Nicolas Pepe” craziness.

Pepe is “open to anything” (Daily Mail)
Speaking of Pepe, the Lille winger is reportedly “open to anything”, as Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United are allegedly keen on the 24-year-old.
Nicolas Pepe finds himself in demand this summer after a fine season with Lille. Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are both reported to be interested. Pepe’s agent insists the player is ‘open to everything’ in terms of his next move.
Liverpool and Everton have also been linked to Pepe as well.

Secretly, I wish The Daily Mail would have used “down for whatever” rather than “open to anything” as it would have been a great tribute to the “Virus” scene from Office Space.
It’s FLEX time! (@cfbayern)
Don’t come in here with that weak sauce — especially if you are going to cite Christian Falk’s own publication.

Leroy Sané still wants to join Bayern, an agreement has been reached between the two parties for a 5-year contract!
All that remains is to agree with Manchester City on the amount of the transfer which could be close to €100M.
Still nothing on De Ligt (Bavarian Football Works)
There was word that Ajax center-back Matthijs de Ligt was going to have a transfer to Juventus announced today, but so far it has been radio silent. While it is safe to assume that De Ligt will be joining Cristiano Ronaldo in Turin, it looks like we’ll all have to wait until it goes “officially official.”

Muller puts his skill on display in training (@FCBayernUS)
If you did not think Thomas Muller still had this in his repertoire, then you are sadly mistaken.

The ball is in Haller’s court on a transfer (kicker)
If Sebastien Haller is going to leave Eintracht Frankfurt for West Ham United, it will be his decision per coach Adi Hutter.
Of course I try to make one or the other appealing to the player. From a purely sporting point of view, he would be a great loss for us. It’s up to the player to decide if he says ‘okay, I want to leave the club because the whole package is right.’
Hutter went on to give a little insight into whether or not there have already been talks between the two clubs.
It’s all about whether there’s an agreement or not when the clubs get together. That’s all still in the balance.
The loss of Haller would obviously be significant for Die Adler.
Bayern eyeing United youth player (Daily Mail)
Bayern Munich is reportedly among the teams interested in Manchester United youth player Mipo Odubeko. Feyenoord, Genoa, Newcastle, and Burnley are also allegedly going to attempt to sign the Ireland youth international.
Manchester United have lost teenage goal scoring sensation Mipo Odubeko after the youngster turned down a new contract. The 16-year-old scored 35 goals for United’s academy last season and was viewed as one of the club’s hottest prospects.
But the Republic of Ireland Under-17 international’s contract expired at the end of June and he has now rejected the offer of an extension - believing his development is better served away from United. Feyenoord, Bayern Munich and Genoa are ready to move in the race to land Odubeko - with the growing likelihood that the teenager will move abroad. Newcastle and Burnley are among the sides in England to have a concrete interest in the youngster.
After signing Chelsea youth players Jamal Musisala and Bright Akwo Array-Mbi it sure looks like Bayern is mining for the next Jadon Sancho — or at least the next (not necessarily English) player developing in a Premier League academy that could be poised to breakout.
