Report: Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka try convincing Leroy Sané to join Bayern

The speculations and futile discussions surrounding Manchester City’s Leroy Sané’s transfer have been filling the papers for quite a while. While Bayern Munich is doing their utmost to bring in the German international, the odds of the Premier League side selling the midfielder are not looking good.

Meanwhile, per reports from various sources, there’s a lot of work going on inside Die Mannschaft’s Euro qualification training camps. It is no secret that Joshua Kimmich is one among the many who is looking forward to see Sané ink the deal with the Bundesliga champions. The defender has expressed his wish to play alongside the City star at Bayern a few days ago.

Word is out that Kimmich, along with Leon Goretzka, is trying to convince Sané to join Bayern this summer. Reports claim that both the players were seen mingling with him during the training sessions. It is said that the latter sits next to the City star at the lunch table — whatever conclusion that brings! Although, in another news, Ilkay Gündogan, his City teammate — who also spends a lot of time with him — is trying to talk him out of a move.

As things stand, none of these reports is legitimate. We cannot draw any conclusions from merely watching someone talk or eat together no matter how strong of a signal it is. Let’s wait until one of these players decide to speak up and make things official.
