Today is the day! The 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup kicks off in Paris in a little bit. The hosts France invite South Korea to the Parc des Princes for the opening match of the competition. While the French are the favorites to get out of the group (and one of the favorites for the entire compeition), South Korea are likely going to be in a battle to get to the knockout stage.

As with Canada four years ago, there’s going to be a lot of pressure on France to do well at this World Cup. Speaking of four years ago, France knocked South Korea out of the Round of 16 to a 3-0 scoreline.

If you’re looking to watch the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup, fuboTV has you for your streaming needs and, as always, Live Soccer TV can tell you where to find the World Cup on television or streaming in your country.

Tips for commenting:

  1. If you’re a new member, feel free to introduce yourself. Don’t feel pressured or anything, we’re mostly very friendly. Also, we’re from all parts of the world so don’t feel shy if you’re from a country that doesn’t seem represented on the blog.
  2. Refresh the page regularly to keep up with the discussion. One refresh every 55-60 seconds is ideal but if that’s too much then just try for one every five minutes and after every goal.
  3. The goal celebrations are for everyone to participate in. Even if you’re lagging behind the others, keep replying to the most recent call of the player’s name. Even if you missed the first call, just start from the second, and so on.
  4. While swearing is allowed within reason, please be polite to your fellow posters and avoid gratuitous obscenities.

Check out our beginners thread if you have any more questions. That’s about it. Auf geht’s!
