Barca still wants Kimmich in the worst way (Calciomercato)
FC Barcelona has long fancied Bayern Munich star Joshua Kimmich and is once again taking a glance at the talented 24-year-old, who many consider the best right back in the world. Calciomercato captured a report from Sport that states Barca could be seeking to make another run at Kimmich should Nelson Semedo leaves.
According to the Spanish newspaper Sport, among the alternatives to Barcelona in case of departure of Nelson Semedo is Bayern Munich’s class ‘96 player Joshua Kimmich, who is under contract until June 2023.
What do we say to the God of team wanting to pry Kimmich away from Bayern? Not today.
Anyway, it was reported earlier in the week that Semedo is “unhappy” and might be looking to leave. Barca’s deep pockets could indeed come calling to Bayern, but we would expect that to be a short phone call.
Hudson-Odoi still in play for Bayern? (@Sky_Torben)
Sky’s Torben Hoffmann had this interesting quote from Hasan “Brazzo” Salihamidzic regarding injured Chelsea starlet Callum Hudson-Odoi.

Brazzo’s statement @SkySportNewsHD on the reports @Calteck10 from England “you don’t always have to believe everything that is said or written there” Odoi not yet written @FCBayern off @SkySportNewsHD @SkySportDE
Yesterday we ran another “dueling” reports piece where at two sources of information conflicted each regarding Hudson-Odoi. With news of England stating that the 18-year-old winger was working on a new deal and then Sport Bild’s Christian Falk swooping into say that Bayern is not yet out of the mix, it could get a bit interesting in the coming days.
This is cool: Thiago and Mahomes talk playmaking (You Tube — FC Bayern)
Bayern midfield maestro Thiago Alcantara and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes talk about the similarities between their positions.
Of course this is a little promo of sorts for Bayern’s trip to Arrowhead Stadium this summer for the International Champions Cup series game against AC Milan on July 23rd, but it was really well done. Thiago’s English is really, really good...which is always amazing to me. I am always super-impressed at how a player like Thiago can learn so many languages, be passable with them, and then still have the time to enhance his skills on the pitch, be a dad, etc.
Here I am feeling bitter about having to make the coffee every day...
Richards is opening eyes with his performances at the U-20 World Cup (@WillParchman)
Bayern defender and FC Dallas product Chris Richards is putting on quite a show at the U-20 World Cup and people are noticing what a shrewd move Bayern made to bring in the American talent.
Chris Richards has outclassed every defender he’s shared a field with this tournament, including a couple pros with far higher profiles. Bayern got an unreal bargain at $1.5m. It pays to invest before the tournament.

Bayern gives James a farewell video (YouTube — FC Bayern)
It wasn’t always smooth, but James did have some fine moments in red. Bayern gave the Colombia international a nice tribute video on his way out the door.
United has eyes on Haller (Transfer Market Web)
It seems like the raid on Eintracht Frankfurt’s talent is fully underway. After Luka Jovic departed for Real Madrid, Manchester United is now keeping an on Sebastien Haller.
A solid partner for Luka Jovic during latest Eintracht Frankfurt season, almost 25-year-old French forward Sébastien Haller, according to Daily Mail, has been targeted by Manchester United. Former Utrecht and Auxerre man is currently on a deal with German club until June 2021, and, having Jovic already left the club, is unlikely to be put up for sale. Haller was recently inquired by West Ham as well.
Haller had 20 goals and 12 assists in 41 games across all competitions this season.
