Bayern Munich legend Arjen Robben might be close to a move to PSV Eindhoven. In a interview with Voetbalzone, PSV Eindhoven coach and former Bayern player Mark van Bommel gave this update on where things are with the 35-year-old winger:
More than one call indeed. He has to make the decision, that is very simple. He knows that we would like to have him there and now we have to give him the time to make a choice about it.
I’m also not going to put pressure on him to force. It is an important choice for him, he can stop, he can go on, he can go to another club, he can come to us. He will undoubtedly have many offers.
Hopefully Robben’s injury situation is sorted soon so he can make a decision. It would be great to see him play another season and spend most of his time on the pitch rather than the training room.
We hit on some of the hot button items that have been discussed on the site of late, including the Women’s World Cup, rumors regarding Manchester City’s Leroy Sane, RB Leipzig’s Timo Werner, and Atlético Madrid’s Rodrigo Hernandez, along with taking a look at where the Bayern back-line stands today.
Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin saw the news that Serge Gnabry was voted as FC Bayern Player of the Season and decided that it was a good time to throw West Brom under the bus.
If you want the story behind Gnabry’s “stir” celebration, here you go:
Benfica winger Joao Felix is one of the most sought-after players on the transfer market. With Atlético Madrid and Manchester City both already in pursuit of the 19-year-old star, Real Madrid is now in the running.
Linked to a sooner move to Atletico Madrid throughout last week, Portuguese international winger Joao Felix (19), according to AS, is going through a Real Madrid steady approach. Merengues reportedly offered Benfica an overall 130 million euros amount, made of a 80€m up-front payout, with a 50€m add-ons on top of that.
Juventus attacking midfielder Paulo Dybala has been rumored to be looking for a way out of Turin for quite some time and usually the rumors include Bayern Munich.
Not so fast my friend!
Linked to a step away from Juventus for a long time, Argentinian international forward Paulo Dybala (25) might now decide to give it another shot, and start his fifth season in a row as a Bianconeri player. To this end, La Joya is about to meet the team just-named boss, Maurizio Sarri, and go through the latter’s plans on him. Dybala is tracked by Inter Milan and Manchester United.
Hopefully this marks the official end of the “Dybala-to-Bayern” rumor mill.
