After a successful loan spell in the 2.Bundesliga, Fein could find himself playing for a Bundesliga club this season.

Adrian Fein had a successful loan with Jahn Regensburg in the 2.Bundesliga during the 2018-19 season, and it looks like the defensive midfielder could now find himself playing in the Bundesliga next season. While Bayern Munich are reportedly very high on Fein, another loan is probably on the cards.

Various reports across Germany have linked Fein with a potential loan move to Koln. The newly promoted side the Bundesliga has a new coach, Achim Beierlorzer, who is joining the club from, you guessed it, Jahn Regensburg. He’s reportedly very high on Fein and would jump at the chance to bring him to Koln for the upcoming season.

Fein started last season in the Regionalliga with Bayern II, playing six matches before the loan to Regensburg was secured. During the Hinrunde, Fein was mostly a starter, putting together a solid resume heading into the winter break. He would pick up an injury during the break, not returning until March. Still, Fein made 21 total appearances for Regensburg helping them to an 8th place finish in the 2.Bundesliga.
