Franck Evina and Timothy Tillman will return to Bayern Munich this summer from their loan spells with Holstein Kiel and Nurnberg. Both players struggled to get on the field for various reasons

Evina joined Kiel in the winter on a year and a half long loan that would keep him there through the end of next season, so his loan spell is being ended a full year early. With former Bayern II coach Tim Walter moving from Kiel to Stuttgart next season, Kiel weren’t interested in investing in Evina’s future any longer.

Tillman joined Nurnberg last summer on a year long loan, but he didn’t make the field for the Nurnberg first team until March. He made six appearances total in the final few months, but those were almost entirely off the bench.

This is great new from Bayern II. With the promotion to the 3.Liga secured, it’s likely that Evina and Tillman will play with the reserves to bolster that squad. It’s a great opportunity for the two players to get minutes back under them on the field.
