Following a report from Bild yesterday that we captured here, Bayern Munich has sent midfielder Adrian Fein to Hamburger SV on a one-year loan assignment. Fein, a 6-foot-2 physical presence in midfield, is just 20 years old and will have another opportunity to play in 2.Bundesliga with the intent of gaining invaluable experience playing first-team football.

Fein started last season in the Regionalliga with Bayern II, playing six matches before he was loaned to Jahn Regensburg. Fein went on to play 21 games in 2.Bundesliga for Regensburg and tallied two assists during those games.
At this stage of his career, Fein is considered more of an athletic presence in the central midfield than a technical wizard, but his time with Hamburger SV should afford him the chance to fine-tune those skills against high-level competition.
The deal between Bayern and Hamburger SV was the second piece of business transacted between the two teams of late. HSV striker Jann-Fiete Arp will join Bayern in July where he hopes to break into the first team.
