Los Blancos stiff-arm initial offer for James (Calciomercato)
Former Bayern Munich midifelder James Rodriguez is likely seeking a quick resolution to what should be a brief return to Real Madrid. Carlo Ancelotti and Napoli are eager to help the Colombia international make that stop a quick respite, but Los Blancos have reportedly shot down Napoli’s first offer for the 27-year-old.
Real Madrid have rejected Napoli’s first bid for James Rodriguez, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports. The Colombian star wants to leave the Bernabeu and Real Madrid are looking for suitors who are open to spending €50 million to secure the services of the former Bayern Munich star.
Ancelotti’s initial offer was reportedly a loan arrangement, but Real Madrid was having none of that. Florentino Perez wants to make any transaction regarding James a permanent move.
Carlo Ancelotti is in contact with James Rodriguez as he wants to make sure Napoli will be the next stop of his career. Real Madrid’s request is clear: James costs €50 million and can’t leave on loan.
Früchtl’s exit looking more likely (Sport.de)
Bayern Munich youth goalkeeper Christian Fruchtl is considered one of the best young prospect in Germany. With Manuel Neuer showing top form of late, however, the 19-year-old is still unlikely to break into the lineup for the record champions.
Because of that, Fruchtl might be considering a move and Mainz 05 and Fortuna Düsseldorf are both interested. Also, Bayern is heavily considering sending Fruchtl on a loan to FC Augsburg.
According to unanimous media reports, Früchtl is about to take a two-year loan to a Bundesliga club. FC Augsburg, in particular, supposedly is very interested in signing the current U-19 national goalkeeper. The first talks have supposedly already taken place. Mainz 05 and Fortuna Düsseldorf have also been linked to the 1.93-metre goalkeeper.
