KIT LEAK: Bayern Munich’s 3rd kit for 2019-20

The third kits have arrived, and they’re a lot better looking than two shades of grey.

Bayern Munich’s third kits for the 2019-2020 season have been leaked by Footy Headlines. We’ve already seen the home kit, the design concept for the away kits, a retro long-sleeve jersey, one of the main training tops, and now we have the third kit - the wardrobe for next season is just about complete. These are set to be officially released at some point during the middle of July or early August during Bayern’s preseason excursions.

If you were a big fan of Bayern’s black, orange, and grey away jersey from the 2016-2017 season, then you’re probably going to like this one. The navy blue base with orange stripes and detailing bare a striking resemblance to the 2016-2017 away kit, though there isn’t a diagonal grey pattern.

Have a look for yourself:

Like the home and away kits, this third jersey also seems to follow the theme of paying homage to the Allianz Arena with the diamond shapes that appear throughout the front of the jersey. It’s almost like this particular kit kind of resembles what the outer shell of the arena looks like at night when it’s lit up (minus the orange detailing).

The collar base, most of the sleeve cuffs, the shoulder stripes, T-Mobile and Adidas logos, team badge, and Mia San Mia logo on the back of the kit are all in a matching shade of a reddish-orange, very similar to the shoulder stripes from the 2016-2017 away kit. The orange detailing also bares a resemblance to the third kit from the 2012-2013 season that had subtle hints or reddish-orange on the chest, sleeves, waistline of the jersey:

Who remembers what game that was ^ ?

Footy Headlines also report that the third kits for next season are set to be accompanied by navy blue shorts and socks that match the base of the kit. The socks are supposed to have red-orange detailing that match the shade on the jersey as well; my guess it some sort of hoop/stripe pattern towards the top of the socks.

You all know the drill by now, and if not, vote anyway!
