In a somewhat surprising move, coach Holger Sietz made several changes to his starting lineup compared to last weekend’s game against Heimstetten per FCBayern.com:
Compared to last weekend’s home win against Heimstetten, Seitz converted his starting eleven to six positions. Nico Feldhahn returned from a yellow suspension in the league. The captain replaced Maxi Welzmüller, who was injured at short notice. Alexander Nollenberger, Jannick Rochelt, Mert Yilmaz and Derrick Köhn were replaced by Resul Türkkalesi, Angelo Mayer, Maximilian Franzke and Joshua Zirkzee. And in goal, U19 goalkeeper Michael Wagner replaced Ron-Thorben Hoffmann, who had not started the trip to London.
The game was played at Millwall’s first-team stadium, which is referred to as “The Den.”
