Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman has been called up by Didier Deschamps to play for the French national team next month. In addition, VfB Stuttgart defender Benjamin Pavard, who will join Bayern in July, also received the call for the UEFA Euro Qualifiers next month.
Pavard was a member of France’s 2018 World Cup-winning squad where he starred at right back. Absent from the list due to injury were Corentin Tolisso and Lucas Hernandez. Tolisso has been working his way back to fitness after tearing his ACL back in September, while Hernandez has been rehabbing a knee injury that he sustained with Atletico Madrid.
Like Pavard, the 23-year-old Hernandez will join Bayern in July.

The inclusion of Pavard was widely expected, while Coman’s consistent performance and threatening offensive ability has made him a player the Deschamps cannot ignore moving forward.
France will face-off against Bolivia on June 2nd, Turkey on June 8th, and Andorra on June 11th.
