A few days ago, an interesting story brought a lot of attention in Germany. Bayern Munich got permission to negotiate with Leroy Sané over a Summer transfer. Bayern failed to sign Sané back in 2016 from Schalke, but are now trying to make a deal with the player. In an interesting interview with Sky Sport, Arjen Robben talked about his possible future successor.

There are a few so extraordinary talents in Europe and he is certainly one of them. Unfortunately, he has not played much at Manchester City recently, I think. But he is a very good player, has a lot of speed, very good with one-on-one, and can score goals. Well, I think that he is a really good player.

Leroy is certainly an interesting player for Bayern, but is he really on their radar? Unfortunately, the Dutchman also doesn’t know.

Of course, I can not say if he is the one for Bayern, other people should decide - for that we have the people in the club. But he is a good player.

Sané, whose contract runs until 2021, is already a standard national player. Him not being called up for the World Cup was easily one of his bigger managerial mistakes. In this season, Leroy made 46 appearances with 16 goals and 18 assists. According to transfermarket, he is valued at 100 million euros.

What do you think — is he a good Robben successor and is he worth the money?
