Just 24 hours after Bayern Munich officially unveiled their home kits for the 2019/2020 season, we have a leak via Footy Headlines of what their new away kit looks like. The new home kit received lots of positive feedback, so hopefully the away kit follows suit, because a lot of people were not happy with Adidas for this season’s mint green away kits, to say the very least. These away kits are scheduled to be released at some point in July.

Let’s have a look at the leaked images:

Well, for starters, at least it’s not mint green — glad Adidas realized that was not a big hit with Bayern fans, and we also seem to never play well when we wear those kits. Much like our new home kit, the graphic on the bottom of this kit also seems to pay homage to the shell of the Allianz Arena with varying shades of white and grey. Footy Headlines refers to the graphic as the “glitch” pattern, which (again) reminds me of the disintegration effect popularized by Avengers: End Game. A simple crew neck collar with grey shoulder stripes comprises the top of the kit, while the T-Mobile and Adidas logos on the front of the kit appear to be some sort of navy blue. Pictures of the back of the kit are not yet available, but it’s safe to assume that the kit number, player name, Mia San Mia and FC Bayern München print on the back will be the same shade of navy blue. To round out the kit, the shorts and socks are expected to be white as well.

Per the lead picture of this article, does this kit remind everyone else of our away kits from 2004? Granted, the kits back then were a lot baggier and didn’t have as much detail, but the white, grey, and navy blue color scheme is strikingly similar.

What’s everyone think?
