Werder Bremen has been one of the most riveting teams to watch develop over the course of the season as Max Kruse has embraced a true leadership role with the squad, while Milot Rashica and Maximilian Eggestein have been two of the biggest breakout stars in the Bundesliga this season.
Werder Bremen also features 19-year-old American Josh Sargent, who has been fighting for playing time of late in an effort to establish himself in a top tier league. Sargent has two goals in 10 first team appearances for Werder Bremen.
Bayern loanee Marco Friedl also is on the Werder Bremen roster, but has only made six appearances across all competitions this season.
