Bayern Munich will be hosting the sixth Audi Cup competition at the Allianz Arena and it will be a star-studded field of teams in Munich.
Per a release from FCBayern.com, the Bavarians will host Real Madrid, Fenerbahçe Istanbul, and Tottenham Hotspur on July 30th and 31st in the preseason tournament.
The tradition started exactly ten years ago: the first Audi Cup was held in 2009 as part of the celebrations for Audi’s 100th birthday. Since then, the Cup has become one of the best-known and most prestigious preseason tournaments in Europe. Hosts FC Bayern have won the trophy three times, while FC Barcelona and Atlético de Madrid have each held the top spot once.
Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is excited about his club being able to face-off against such a great field of teams.

The format will be simple. The semifinal games will be played on Tuesday, July 30th as Real Madrid will square off with Tottenham Hotspur, before FC Bayern and Fenerbahçe Istanbul tangle. The losing teams will play for third place on Wednesday, July 31st at 6:00PM, before the winners meet for the final at 8:30 p.m.
