Here we go again...Conte rumors (Calciomercato)

Former Juventus and Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is going to coach again soon, but the location is yet to be determined. Per reports out of Italy, AS Roma has offered Conte a deal, but the 49-year-old may want to ensure he has evaluated all of his alleged options, including AC Milan, Inter Milan, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain.

Today it is reported by several press agencies that fifteen days is the period of reflection that Antonio Conte took before responding to the 9.5 million offer a year proposed by Rome. The former Italian coach also has other offers. And it’s not so much about Inter and Milan but also clubs like PSG and Bayern Munich, ready to build teams that could potentially win Conte’s big dream: The Champions League. In mid-May, therefore, the fate of Conte and Roma bench will be known.

Schmankerl Soap Box

The thought of replacing Niko Kovac at this point is laughable. Even if he fails in the team’s attempt for a domestic double, I believe it will have less to do with him than the performance of the players on the pitch.

Kovac has not been without fault in his first year with Bayern, but he has evolved, learned how to manage the talent and personalities on the roster, and deserves more time at the helm.

It hasn’t always been pretty, but Kovac has earned another opportunity to work with this roster.

Bayern may not be the front runner for Pepe (Metro UK)

Lille winger Nicolas Pepe has been one of the transfer targets most associated with Bayern Munich over the past two months. Just how serious Bayern has been in its alleged pursuit has been the subject of much debate.

If reports out of England and France are to be believed, Bayern may not have as much interest as first thought. Per the Metro UK:

Liverpool will move for Nicolas Pepe in the coming weeks, according to reports in France. The Lille forward will be hot property in the coming transfer market after 19 goals in Ligue 1 this season – only Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe (30) has scored more. Arsenal have been tracking Pepe for the last year, while Chelsea recently identified the 23-year-old as a replacement for Real Madrid-bound Eden Hazard. But L’Equipe claim Liverpool are ready to position themselves to sign Pepe after making an inquiry about the star earlier this month.

With Liverpool reportedly closing in on Pepe, where does this leave Bayern? Well, @iMiaSanMia went a little deeper into the L’Equipe report, which states that Bayern has not even made a formal offer on Pepe as of yet.

Per L’Equipe, Pepe is going to make a decision on his career sometime after May 5th.

Davies takes the Bayern Challenge (FC Bayern Munich — You Tube)

Former Vancouver Whitecaps star Alphonso Davies may still be adjusting to life in Germany in some respects, but the 19-year-old was deemed ready for the Bayern Challenge and definitely had some fun with it.

King Arturo going for 8th straight domestic crown (Daily Mail)

Former Bayern Munich man Arturo Vidal is seeking his eight consecutive league title this weekend. If FC Barcelona can beat Levante, the 31-year-old Chile international will have secured yet another domestic title.

Arturo Vidal is on the verge of winning a stunning eighth consecutive league title this weekend from a third different country. Barcelona can retain La Liga this weekend if they beat Levante at the Nou Camp on Sunday, a feat that will secure their 26th title and their eighth in the last 11 years. Vidal moved to Catalonia for an undisclosed fee last summer from Bayern Munich and has made 29 league appearances for the club - enough to help secure what would be his eighth personal domestic title in a row.

Hannover 96 star Niklas Fullkrug has missed the greater part of the season due to cartilage damage in his knee, but that did not stop Werder Bremen from bringing back their academy graduate.
