Due to the imminent departures of Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery, Bayern Munich have been linked to a lot of wingers lately. The latest suspect — Fiorentina’s Federico Chiesa. The Bavarians are said to be monitoring him, but Juventus are considered front-runners for the winger’s signature. Inter Milan are also in the race.
The info comes from a tweet by La Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira, who tweeted this:
Gli occhi del #BayernMünchen su Federico #Chiesa: gli scout bavaresi l'hanno già visionato e promosso da tempo. In pole per l'esterno offensivo resta, però, la #Juventus, con l'#Inter sempre in vigile. Valutazione della #Fiorentina: 80 milioni. #calciomercato

Schira says that Bayern Munich are watching Federico Chiesa, and have scouted him for some time. Juventus are considered in pole position for the winger, and Inter are also interested. Fiorentina wants 80m for the player.
Eighty million euros seems like a steep price for a player who has the offensive output of Thorgan Hazard, although granted Chiesa is just 21 years old. However, our friends over at Black and White and Read All Over say that the report isn’t the most reliable, and we should heed their words and take it with a grain of salt.
It’s become a trend in the media to link Bayern with wingers across the continent. Who’s going to be next?
