Bavarian Podcast Works Episode 2: We’re Experiencing Technical Difficulties

To quote Chris Martin: “Nobody said it was easy.”

Before we get into what this episode looks like, I’d like to say two things about you Bayern Munich fans:

  1. Wow.
  2. Wow.

You guys are amazing. Seriously, this podcast is something we’ve wanted to do for a while, and we had been bumping into a couple of hurdles every step of the way. Then we finally released it. Without any access to Apple Podcasts. Or Spotify Podcasts. Or Google Podcasts.

But guess what? We got nearly 500 downloads in the first two days and approximately 700 overall anyway. I can’t thank you all enough.

Now, none of us need to worry about that, because we are now on Spotify and Stitcher (still working on Apple). We will update you when the bigger players come into the picture.

Anyways, on to the pod!

  • After 90 Minutes: Jake and Chuck talk about Bayern’s 4-1 thrashing of Fortuna Dusseldorf and what injuries to Mats Hummels and Manuel Neuer mean for the next few games
  • Der Ausblick: We preview Werder Bremen part 1 of 2 and look at how a man named Max Kruse leads one team in goals, shots and assists
  • The Newsroom: We laugh at the latest boxing match between Lewandowski and Coman, Jake hates on Gareth Bale’s man bun, and Chuck think’s Jogi Low is arrogant
  • Before We Go: We promise, we love James Rodriguez. But, we don’t think that he is the best fit for Bayern Munich.

We also would love to announce our new audience participation segment! Starting with our next full length episode, we will be debuting the segment AskBPW, where we will be responding to audience questions submitted on Twitter using the hashtag #AskBPW. Wait for the prompt from our account and then ask away!

Again everyone, thank you for listening and be sure to rate and subscribe to get the latest content. Enjoy!
