Report: Bayern set to offer €58m for Jovic (The Sunday Express)
In yesterday’s Daily Schmankerl it was reported that Bayern Munich was in the process of submitting a bid on Eintracht Frankfurt striker and Serbia international Luka Jovic. That bid now (allegedly) has a monetary value of €58m.
Chelsea, who have forward problems of their own, are said to be after Jovic, having been impressed by his goal-scoring antics throughout the current campaign. But their plans to sign the hitman could be scuppered, as Mundo Deportivo are reporting that Bayern are set to try and lure Jovic to the Allianz with a £50m offer.
FC Barcelona, of course, is considered the other front runner for Niko Kovac’s former charge.
United pushing for Hudson-Odoi (Daily Mail)
As if trying to fend off Chelsea’s attempt to retain the talented winger and keeping Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund away from the 18-year-old wasn’t going to be hard enough, Bayern will now have to contend with Manchester United for Callum Hudson-Odoi.
Manchester United have joined the chase for England and Chelsea star Callum Hudson-Odoi. Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich, who made a £35million bid in January, are also chasing the teenager, who was given his debut by Gareth Southgate in the 5-0 win over the Czech Republic on Friday.
The 18-year-old is no closer to signing a deal with Chelsea and his current contract runs out in the summer of 2020, with no further substantial talks having taken place since January.

Bayern interested in Koulibaly? (Football Italia)
According to this report, Bayern was ready to offer or has offered €110m for Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly (!?). This seems completely absurd, but here we go:
Napoli could sell Allan to PSG for €75m, which means rejecting €110m from Bayern Munich and Manchester United for Kalidou Koulibaly. According to Il Mattino newspaper, Paris Saint-Germain are ready to resume their attempts to snap up Brazil international midfielder Allan.
They were quoted a price-tag of €110m in January, but that could be lowered to just €75m over the summer. Allan had been enthusiastic about the transfer, so it wouldn’t take too long to work out the terms of the deal.
Because of this, Napoli would be far less likely to part with Koulibaly, even if clubs are ready to break the bank for the defender. Il Mattino suggest Bayern Munich are offering €110m, while The Sun newspaper claims Manchester United could go over €150m for the Senegal international center back.
Former Napoli sporting director laments not getting Lewandowski (@IFTVofficial)
Apparently former Napoli sporting director Pierpaolo Marino could have brought in Bayern striker Robert Lewandowski and Real Madrid’s Luka Modric.
“I could’ve brought Lewandowski to Napoli & I came very close to doing it. The same goes for Modric.”

To be completely honest, BFW also failed to bring in Lewandowski and Modric for Tommy Adams’ beer league team. It was a systematic failure by all involved.
