Rangnick throws cold water on Werner-to-Bayern rumors (@dw_sports)
RB Leipzig sporting director and current coach Ralf Rangnick does not think his star forward Timo Werner will be making the move to Bayern Munich this summer.
Not so fast, kid!

Rangnick denies Bayern have made an offer for Timo Werner and insists he will not be allowed to leave for free in 2020.
If he does not sign a new contract, he’ll be sold this summer - but perhaps not to Bayern. pic.twitter.com/owW9xjxNvX
In a report form Bild, Rangnick stated that no one from Bayern has contacted him as of yet and made it known that Werner will not be leaving on a free transfer in 2020.
Nobody from Bayern has approached us yet. A case like with Leon Goretzka and Robert Lewandowski (both went free transfer to Bayern). There will not be (a free transfer) between us with Timo Werner and Bayern. This option does not exist. Timo and his advisor know that, too.
Thauvin not contacted by Bayern as of yet (@Sky_MaxB)
Marseille winger Florian Thauvin has been linked to Bayern several times in the past year, but Sky reporter Max Bielefeld does not think the two parties have engaged as of yet.

Bayern vs. M’Gladbach: A prediction (Bavarian Football Works)
The circumstances for this match are certainly not ideal for Bayern. First, Borussia Monchengladbach is reeling and in desperate need of a win on its home turf. With two losses and a draw in their last three Bundesliga games, the Foals are going to pull out all the stops to get a victory and end a bad stretch.
On the surface, Bayern looks a bit susceptible. Corentin Tolisso (knee), David Alaba (tendinitis), Leon Goretzka (ankle), Franck Ribery (stomach infection), Arjen Robben (thigh), and Kingsley Coman (hamstring) are all scheduled to miss the game, so Niko Kovac will have to get creative with his lineup.
Talent, though, won’t be hard to come by for Kovac. Even with the aforementioned players missing, Kovac can roll out a lineup that includes Manuel Neuer, Robert Lewandowski, Mats Hummels, Thomas Muller, Serge Gnabry, Niklas Sule, Joshua Kimmich, Thiago Alcantara, James Rodriguez, etc. Simply put, Bayern is still Bayern.
Should Müller not get the start, it will officially be time to start wondering what the hell Kovac is doing.
Aside of its recent lapse, M’Gladbach has been excellent this season and has Thorgan Hazard powering its offense. Regardless, Bayern should be able to fend off Hazard, Lars Stindl, Matthias Ginter, and Alassane Plea to come out on top.
Prediction: Bayern Munich 3, Borussia Monchengladbach 1
Thiago is pretty good (@IntChampionsCup)
Not too shabby by Thiago Alcantara.
Thiago Alcântara is making more accurate passes on average than any other player (min. 1000 minutes) in Europe’s top 5 leagues ⚽️
