The Dutchman is working hard to return to the lineup for Bayern Munich, but may want to wear a HAZMAT suit in the locker room.

Bayern Munich legend Arjen Robben has had a lot of bad luck this season. From muscular ailments to a bout with dental issues, the Dutchman has hit roadblock after roadblock in his quest to get back on the pitch.

The 35-year-old might finally be back on course, though. Bild reporter Heiko Niedderer (@itstheicebird) captured Robben working his way through some drills and the veteran is looking pretty fluid albeit not exactly hitting top speed in the drill below.

With Kingsley Coman out with an injury and Alphonso Davies apparently in need of a little more seasoning before he is ready for prime time, Robben’s inclusion on the roster would help provide some depth and excitement on the wing. As Robben winds down his career in Bavaria, the veteran will no doubt be looking to give the fans one final showing of his skill and grit in helping the squad achieve its goals for the Bundesliga, Champions League, and DFB-Pokal.

In other training news, multiple players are ill for the Bavarians per Sport 1. Mats Hummels, Manuel Neuer, Sven Ulreich, Franck Ribery and Robert Lewandowski are all sick and did not participate in training on Tuesday. Leon Goretzka and Thiago Alcantara also sat out practice to rest lingering physical issues.
