Adrian Fein — Hamburg — 2.Bundesliga

Bayern Munich youth products had a lot of sway on the field as Adrian Fein and Hamburg took on Niklas Dorsch and Heidenheim. Heidenheim managed to hand Hamburg their first loss at home of the 2.Bundesliga and, at the same time, pull within three points of them in the table.

Rumors abound in Bild that Dorsch isn’t long for Heidenheim and could even be the replacement for Fein at Hamburg if he doesn’t stick around next season. It seems to be that the only way Dorsch joins Hamburg if they are promoted. They need to be able to afford his €3 million transfer fee, and he wants to play in the Bundesliga.

Franck Evina — KFC Uerdingen — 3.Liga

Franck Evina and KFC Uerdingen picked up a massive 4-1 win over Hansa Rostock to jump up to 8th in the 3.Liga table. (For reference, they have four points more than Bayern Munich II.) Evina contributed to the match with his set pieces, picking up a direct assist on one while Uerdingen eventually scored on another. It finally looks like they’re playing like they should considering the talent in the squad.
