During Bayern Munich’s 2-1 loss to Borussia Monchengladbach yesterday, two players had to be subbed off due to injury. The first, Corentin Tolisso, pulled up at the 20th minute with what seemed like a muscular issue and was taken off for Ivan Perisic. Later in the game, defender Jerome Boateng also had to be subbed off for identical reasons.
Luckily, Bayern confirmed today that neither player suffered any serious harm. The Frenchman suffered from a tight thigh while Boateng had been subbed due to a tight calf muscle. Both players should be available for the midweek clash against Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League.
Of course, because we can’t have nice things, Michael Cuisance suffered a foot injury after a clash during training today and had to leave the pitch. According to Bild, the player left the training ground on crutches.

An accurate diagnosis will probably be made on Monday. This setback comes at an inopportune time for the youngster, who could have had the chance to get some minutes this week against Tottenham Hotspur. With the match essentially being a dead rubber game and Jose Mourinho confirming that he would give Spurs youngsters a shot, Cuisance might’ve gotten an opportunity to start from coach Hansi Flick.
Safe to say that things aren’t going well for the Frenchman at the moment.
