After Bayern Munich’s dominating victory over Werder Bremen on Saturday, David Alaba made it clear that he wants Hansi Flick to coach until the end of the season. According to the Austrian defender, it’s not just him that believes this. He told AZ that,

We all feel really good. You can recognize his philosophies very well in our game.

When Niko Kovac and FC Bayern parted ways in November, Hansi Flick was named head coach “until further notice.” The question that everyone has, is when that will be. Although the players may have Flick’s back, there is a still a chance that the “further notice” comes before the end of the season. Sporting Director, Hasan “Brazzo” Salihamdzic, had this to say,

Naturally we will look closely at how we work, at how the coach works, and how the players react. But of course we are going to decide that. Sure, the players wish that, but in the end, we have the last word.

According to AZ, Bayern officials will meet after the last game of the Hinrunde next Saturday to make a decision. Will we see a new coach for the new year, or will Flick lead the Rekordmeister for the rest of the season?
