Leroy Sané reportedly rejects new Manchester City contract

The never-ending saga between Bayern Munich and Manchester City for the transfer of Leroy Sané seems to be drawing to a conclusion.

Leroy Sané to Bayern Munich has so far been one of those never-ending transfer stories that everyone starts getting tired of, especially after the German champions failed to sign him in the summer window due to an unfortunate ACL injury.

All that seemingly looks to approach a conclusion, however, as reports suggest that Sané has turned down a new contract from Manchester City, supposedly in favour of making the move to Munich.

According to Bild’s Christian Falk, agent Giovanni Branchini is working behind the scenes, so it might be possible that Bayern could get him for lower that €100 million, which would be quite the transfer coup.

Although fans were visibly disappointed by the board’s inability to sign a “world class” winger this past summer, they might get the game changer they wanted after all, for (possibly) much cheaper than initially surmised. One can only think the Bayern board would use €100 million as a starting point and use their negotiating skills to pull this one off.

So, are you all in board the Sané transfer bandwagon? Or do you have other ideas?
