With Niko Kovac being fired, Bayern Munich needs to find a new manager. Bayern has set Hansi Flick in place on an interim basis but still need a manager for the long term. According to Sky Sports, Bayern has reached out to Thomas Tuchel of Paris Saint-Germain about this position.
During his time at PSG, Tuchel has won the Ligue 1 championship. Many Bayern fans will also remember Thomas Tuchel as the previous coach of Borussia Dortmund, where he won the DFB Pokal.
Bayern Munich has reportedly inquired whether Thomas Tuchel might be available to take over the club either now or the summer. One problem with this is that Tuchel is still under contract with PSG until 2021. PSG has said his availability in the summer of 2020 will depend on their form this season.
