As it was reported earlier this afternoon, Niko Kovac has resigned as manager of Bayern Munich.
The reports will be updated on the site as new information comes forward, but in the meantime, Tom Adams and I offered our thoughts on how Niko did as a manager in the latest podcast episode:
Well, it finally happened. Niko Kovac is out as the manager of Bayern Munich. Time for the ranting to get underway: -Jake goes off on the fans, players, and well...everybody for how they treated Kovac, whether the players deserve any accountability for the poor fixtures, and said he’d leave the pod if Jose Mourinho was brought in - Tom offers his condolences for Kovac’s career and wishes Niko and Robert the best as they move forward
No episode of Der Ausblick this week, because we were mostly just going to talk about the last game anyway. But, on the next episode of The Bavarian Podcast Works show we reveal who won the #MullerWeen contest so be sure to download that one.
That’s all from me. Stay strong. Mia san mia.
