Although the meeting was intended to give Kovac a temporary reprieve, he offered his resignation as the person responsible for the team’s performances. That sudden turn of events set in motion one of the biggest transfer stories of the year: who would coach Bayern Munich for the rest of the season and beyond? There are several possibilities this year or next — Erik Ten Hag, Mauricio Pochettino, Arsene Wenger, José Mourinho, Jürgen Klopp, Pep Guardiola?
