Ivan Perisic has been named to the Croatia squad for upcoming Euro 2020 Qualifiers against Hungary and Wales. The winger is an instrumental part of Zlatko Dalic’s side as they work to qualify for the upcoming European Championship.
When the Perisic transferred was announced during the summer, not everyone met it with open arms. However, over recent months, Perisic has worked well to show that he was worth the transfer (loan with an option to buy) and should play valuable minutes for the club this season.
Croatia will play Hungary on October 10 and Wales on October 13. They currently lead Group E with 10 points, only 1 point ahead of both Slovakia and Hungary.
