Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara has once again been called up to Spain’s national team. The 28-year-old midfield maestro has not been at his best so far this season, but has been solid overall and performed well enough to again earn a call-up for international duty. Thiago has two assists in eight games across competitions this season.
Spain squares off against Norway on Saturday, October 12, at 2:45PM EST at Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo, Norway, before traveling to Sweden for a contest on Tuesday, October 15, at 2:45PM EST at Friends Arena (also known as Nationalarenan) in Stockholm, Sweden. Both games are UEFA Euro 2020 qualifiers. The complete roster for Spain is below:

As you might have noticed, former Bayern Munich outside-back and current Paris Saint-Germain stalwart Juan Bernat also earned the call. Bernat has experienced career boost with PSG after scuffling along as a seldom-used back-up in Bavaria. Bernat, who is 26, has five assists in 10 games across all competitions this season.
