A total of eleven players from Bayern Munich’s first team have received call-ups to their respective national teams for the international break. As per usual, it’s a large group of players, so Bayern Frauen will be lighter in training through the players’ return.
Obviously, the biggest contingent is away with the Germany national team. A total of six Bayern players were called up to the squad: including Giulia Gwinn, Melanie Leupolz, and Lina Magull. The Germans have two Euro 2021 Qualifying matches to play during the break against Ukraine and Greece
Other call-ups include Lineth Beerensteyn to the Netherlands, Carina Wenninger to Austria, and Amanda Ilestedt to Sweden.
