It’s not a secret that Manchester United are fans of Thomas Müller’s game. The higher-brass in Manchester even were reported to have offered a (at the time) world-record fee to lure the German to England in 2016. Bayern rejected that offer out of hand; however, now things have changed. Reported by the Bild, Manchester United have once again rekindled their interest in Muller and are interested in bringing the raumdeuter in as soon as the winter.

In addition to United, fellow former European heavyweights in Inter Milan are also interested in signing Bayern’s number 25 (Kicker). Kicker add that Müller and his team were not pleased by Bayern club president Uli Hoeness’ recent statement that “it was obvious that if [Coutinho] comes things would be difficult for Müller.”
After starting against Olympiacos, Müller downplayed the drama surrounding his status at Bayern. He told he press,
I’m trying to concentrate on playing football. The whole discussions can perhaps slowly come to an end a bit.
There’s no doubt that other clubs will be vying for Müller’s signature if he indeed intends to leave, but it’s unlikely that Müller would attract a Champions League contender. If one adds the fact that Müller could still realistically play a big role for Niko Kovac going forward, and that he’s a firm fan favourite, it would be improbable, ableit not impossible, to see him depart in this winter window.
