So, after Bayern Munich failed to pick up three points in their first game after the international break, Kovac, Lewandowski and Co. look to pick up three points in the Champions League this Tuesday against Olympiacos in Piraeus.
But, following a major injury to over favorite chonky boi Niklas Süle and a health scare with Corentin Tolisso, Tom and I wonder if the team will be ready for the upcoming test in a tough environment:
On this episode, we take a look at Olympiacos F.C., who are currently 1st in the Greek Super League. They are also 3rd in UCL Group B with a 0-1-1 record and 1 point, ahead of Tottenham on goal difference. Today, Jake and Tom talk about how recent injuries may effect Bayern’s starting XI and whether the intimidating atmosphere in Greece may cause trouble for the Bavarians.
That’s all for now! We will be releasing an episode of The Bavarian Podcast Works Show later this week so stay tuned for that. Be sure to send us some questions via Twitter using the hashtag #AskBPW to be featured on the next episode.
Also, we have a major announcement to make on the next podcast which includes a contest any Bayern fan would love so stay tuned for that.
