Bayern Munich continued their bounce-back from last weekend’s loss to Hoffenheim with a 3-1 victory over Turbine Potsdam. The Bavarians sprinted out to a big 3-0 halftime lead and never looked back.

It was all Bayern early in this one, and they nearly took the lead in the opening few minutes. A 21st minute goal from Jovana Damnjanovic was ruled out for offside, but Bayern finally struck in the 25th minute. Simone Laudehr headed home a corner from Carolin Simon to put Bayern up 1-0.

One minute later, Linda Dallmann made it 2-0 finishing off a run from Lineth Beerensteyn.

Just before the halftime whistle, Dallmann drew a penalty. Damnjanovic stepped up and converted the spot kick for the 3-0 halftime lead.

Just after the halftime break, Sophie Weidauer scored to pull one back for Potsdam, but that’s all they could muster against the Bavarians.

Bayern remain third in the Frauen Bundesliga table, six points behind leaders Wolfsburg and three points behind second place Hoffenheim. Next Sunday, the Bavarians travel to USV Jena.

Bayern XI: Schlüter - Gielnik (55. Škorvánková), Hendrich, Wenninger, Laudehr - Lohmann, Dallmann, Magull, Simon (86.) - Damnjanović (66. Rolser), Beerensteyn
