Miroslav Klose may have set the record for most FIFA World Cup goals, but even though he was never teammates with Robert Lewandowski, he still recognizes his immense goal scoring talent and considers him to be better than he ever was.

He told Sport Bild (via Goal.com):

Robert Lewandowski plays a bit like I did, but he’s ten times better than I ever was He’s the complete striker, uses both feet, is strong in the air and has a great shot on him.

Klose played with many great players during his spell at Bayern. He chose Thomas Müller as the player he most enjoyed playing with the most, without getting involved in the drama surrounding Müller’s future at the club. He said,

Thomas Müller is the guy I enjoyed playing with the most. We had a fantastic understanding. We only had to look at other, and we knew what we were going to do. It really was a great partnership!

Many different players have expressed how much enjoy playing with Müller and having him as a teammate lately. Klose only confirms what has often been highlighted by fans as well as players (e.g. Lewandowski): Müller is an easy player to play with because he has a great understanding of the game and his teammates.
