The Bavarians will play the multiple time Kazakh champions — They’ve now won the league six times in a row. — for the first time ever. Kazygurt aren’t new to this stage of the Champions League either. This will be the third straight year they’ve played in the Round of 16, previously being eliminated by Paris Saint-Germain and Lyon.
The first leg in the tie will take place on either October 16 or 17 while the second leg will be October 30 or 31.
