The Blues offer Bayern another rejection (Evening Standard)
Chelsea was rumored to be irritated by Bayern Munich’s pursuit of Callum Hudson-Odoi and were reportedly quick to reject an attempt by the Bavarians to bring in 22-year-old center back Andreas Christensen of Denmark.
Chelsea have rejected inquiries from Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Juventus for defender Andreas Christensen. Standard Sport understands that all three clubs have approached Chelsea in the past week over whether the west London club are willing to loan or sell the Denmark international.
Christensen is regarded as one of the best young center halfs in the world, but has barely been selected by coach Maurizio Sarri this term. But just as Barcelona’s approach was turned down last month, Chelsea have made it clear to Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Juventus that the former Brondby trainee is not going anywhere before tomorrow’s transfer deadline.
It is expected they will all return in the summer though as Christensen’s future at Chelsea remains uncertain, even though he has three years left on his contract.
Per The Sun (who else?), Christensen was involved in “pee gate,” but it’s not exactly about something you’d be disturbed to find that your roommate was using your laptop to search for on craigslist.
Christensen angered the Italian (Sarri) by disappearing from the bench for a toilet break for the final minutes of Chelsea’s defeat at Arsenal. And now his spell in SW6 could be coming to an end with the two Champions League sides keen to land him before the deadline.
Bayern lining up Hudson-Odoi back-up plan (Metro)
Bayern Munich might be facing the reality that despite a dogged pursuit of Hudson-Odoi, Chelsea is going to fight hard to keep the player in England. As a fallback plan, however, the Bavarians have their eyes on Benfica starlet Joao Felix. Felix carries a steep price tag, though.
Bayern Munich are reportedly plotting a move for Benfica wonderkid Joao Felix as a summer back-up plan in case their bid for Callum Hudson-Odoi fails. The Bundesliga giants have tabled four separate offers to sign Hudson-Odoi this January and the 18-year-old forward has handed in a transfer request to force through an exit at Chelsea.
Felix, 19, has burst onto the scene in his debut season in Portugal, scoring five goals in 12 appearances, and Europe’s elite clubs are already beginning to take notice.Manchester United and Liverpool are both keeping tabs on Felix and could face competition from Bayern to land teenager in the summer. Reports suggest Liverpool lodged a £61million bid for Felix this January but the offer was swiftly rejected by Benfica. Felix has a €120million (£106m) release clause in his contract at Benfica meaning it would likely take a Portuguese transfer record to sign the sought-after youngster. Borussia Dortmund, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Lyon are also monitoring the Portugal U21 starlet.

Memphis makes case for a bigger move (Daily Mail)
Lyon forward Memphis Depay listed a group of teams, including Bayern, that would “suit him” as the 24-year-old told Helden magazine (captured by the Daily Mail).
Lyon is a big club, but not one of the five best in Europe. I want to go to a club like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain or Bayern Munich. ‘I want to go to a city that suits me and a club that suits me, to a team that really wants to play football. I always talk about Real Madrid, a royal club, white shirts with gold. But I’m focused right now on Lyon, and then we see where I end up.

Wagner rejected West Ham United before deciding on China (Forever West Ham)
It appears that Sandro Wagner had a chance to go to England, but opted for Tianjin TEDA instead.
West Ham United have seen an approach rejected for Bayern Munich striker Sandro Wagner, according to Bild. The German newspaper report that the Hammers are one of several sides which made an enquiry for the 31-year-old, who has struggled for game time at the Allianz Arena this season.
Speaking of Wagner, Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic had this to say on the big man’s transfer per FCBayern.com:
Sandro Wagner came up to us and asked for release from his contract. He has a very attractive offer from China and we have met his request. We expressly thank Sandro for spending time with FC Bayern and wish him all the best and much success for his future in China.
