After a much turbulent period for the youngster, Chelsea may not actually be trying to make Callum Hudson-Odoi feel more wanted than before the transfer saga. After many promises from coach Maurizio Sarri and club’s management, Hudson-Odoi played a full game against Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup, where he assisted to both goals and showed a dominant performance, and nearly 80 minutes against Tottenham in the EFL Cup, wich Chelsea lost 1-0. As for today, Hudson-Odoi was left on the bench.

Chelsea’s game against Newcastle made the benching curious. Newcastle isn’t a top-tier club and there was plenty room for Hudson-Odoi, but Sarri decided otherwise. This situation might unnerve the youngster, especially when Bayern Munich is very interested in him and will allegedly offer more playing time and a key role starting next season. On the other hand, there is his youth club Chelsea, which keeps promising him big things but fails to keep those promises.
Rumor has it that Chelsea will decide on Callum Hudson-Odoi’s future after Newcastle game. Time will only tell what will happen with the youngster!
