We’re back on the trail of the three Bayern Munich players on on loan to start the 2018-19 Bundesliga season. Marco Friedl and Timothy Tillman are playing this season with Bundesliga clubs Werder Bremen and Nürnberg, while Adrian Fein is in the 2.Bundesliga with Jahn Regensburg.
Marco Friedl - Werder Bremen
Friedl didn’t play for Werder Bremen in their 3-2 victory over Augsburg. It’s been a disappointing start to the campaign for Friedl as he’s only featured once as a substitute so far this season. Werder are fourth in the Bundesliga at the moment and will host Hertha Berlin midweek.
Friedl’s loan with Werder ends in June 2019.
Timothy Tillman - Nürnberg
Tillman didn’t feature this week for Nürnberg in their 2-0 win against Hannover 96. While he played last weekend for FCN II in the Regionalliga, he didn’t play there either this week. The win moves Nürnberg onto 5 points and 8th place. Nürnberg will face Borussia Dortmund midweek.
Tillman’s loan with Nürnberg ends in June 2019.
Adrian Fein - Jahn Regensburg (2.Bundesliga Matchday 6)
Fein came on in the 80th minute as the second substitute of Regensburg’s massive 5-0 smackdown of Hamburg on Sunday. All of the goals were scored before Fein made it to the field, but it’s important that the midfielder actually got onto the field in a competitive match for his new club. The three points moves Regensburg into 14th place with 7 points, just 3 points out of the relegation playoff spot. Regensburg will face Heidenheim midweek.
Fein’s loan with Jahn Regensburg ends in June 2019.
