Per a report by ESPN’s Mark Lovell, who covered the Niko Kovac press conference earlier today, the Bayern Munich coach offered the latest news on the two most prominent names being bandied about in the transfer market, Jerome Boateng and Juan Bernat.
Jerome is a world class defender and a top professional. Jerome received an offer [from PSG] but I don’t know how far transfer negotiations progressed. He’s here now and will stay here and give everything for the club. He will make sacrifices for the team and the club to achieve our common goals.
Kovac also touched on Bernat’s imminent departure to Paris Saint-Germain and that Renato Sanches will remain in Bavaria despite rumors that he was up for sale.
Meanwhile, the coach confirmed that Juan Bernat is in Paris having a medical, while Renato Sanches will also stay at Bayern despite reported interest from PSG boss Thomas Tuchel.
