It’s that time again, ladies and gentlemen; the draw for the group stages of the UEFA Champions League for the 2018/2019 season. Bayern Munich fell just short of the final last season at the hands of Real Madrid, who went on to lift ol’ big ears in Kiev; but they needed a good bit of luck against us (*cough*Ulreich*cough*). However, it’s a new season with a new manager in Niko Kovac at Bayern, and we’ve gotten off to a winning start domestically, so we’ll be looking to carry that form into Europe when the group stage matches start.

Will luck be on our side this time around, will the injury gods go easy on us for once, and will we see another ginger cat pitch invader at an away ground? The answers to all of these questions and more will come in a matter of months, and hopefully we’ll see Bayern lift their first Champions League title since 2013.

As always for the group stage, one team from each pot will be selected for each group and no two teams from the same country can play one another in the group stage.

Here’s a look at the four pots:

Pot One: Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain, Lokomotiv Moscow

Pot Two: FC Porto, Borussia Dortmund, SSC Napoli, Benfica, Manchester United, AS Roma, Tottenham, Shakhtar Donetsk

Pot Three: Liverpool, Schalke, AS Monaco, Olympique Lyon, Ajax, Valencia, PSV Eindhoven, CSKA Moscow

Pot Four: Club Brugge, Young Boys, Galatasaray, Hoffenheim, Red Star Belgrade, AEK Athens, Inter Milan, Viktoria Plzen

Location: Monaco.

Time: Noon ET, 6 pm local time
