Per a report out of France, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain have agreed to terms on a transfer for Spanish outside back Juan Bernat. RMC Sport has detailed that the clubs reached an accord on the transfer of Bernat and that the fee would be “up to 15 million euros.”

According to our information, PSG and Bayern Munich have found common ground for the transfer of Bernat, up to 15 million euros. But nothing is signed yet. Paris may well have found the left-back it so desires. And according to the last echoes, it would be the Spaniard Juan Bernat, 25 years old. The capital club and Bayern Munich have agreed to an estimated transfer of 15 million euros, excluding bonuses, according to information from RMC Sport.

Interestingly, the report also states that PSG has not given up on its pursuit of Atletico Madrid outside back, Felipe Luis.

PSG still continues to work the track leading to Felipe Luis . So it’s a final two for the post of left side. And there are only four days left.

BFW Analysis

While the clubs have not announced anything formal as of yet, this looks like it is extremely close to becoming final. At 25, Bernat needs to be on the field during games, which was not happening with Bayern barring a slew of injuries (we know, we know...that is ALWAYS possible in Munich). Rafinha has progressed into the primary back-up to both David Alaba on the left and Joshua Kimmich on the right and with that, Bernat has become expendable.

It is not as if Bernat is devoid of talent or skill, he just would not be likely to get much of a chance to display either in Bavaria. The odd part of the report is that it seems like PSG has not given up on acquiring Luis as well, who would be a direct competitor to Bernat. If Bernat makes the move and still ends up anchored to the bench, it would be yet another disappointment for the Spaniard.
