Per a report by Sky Sport, Robert Lewandowski will take one last run at convincing Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, Uli Hoeness, Hasan Salihamidžić, and Niko Kovač to let him leave Bayern Munich.

The Bayern bosses left no doubt that Robert Lewandowski will play in the coming season in the record champions. The topic was thought to be over, but according to Sky information it is not yet. As Sky Sport knows, the Polish striker will make one last attempt to change the opinion of those in charge.

Another change of heart at Lewandowski? #skybuli https://sport.sky.de/fussball/artikel/sky-info-lewandowski-will-letzten-wechselversuch-starten/11451431/34130?wkz=WXTSL1 … #ttps://t.co/Sn0c2BdiIY

This saga has played out for months on end and the club has not shown any interest in letting the Polish striker exit his contract early.

Lewandowski’s last hope is a personal conversation with coach Niko Kovač. In this the star striker wants to tell his coach after returning from the US in private that he still wants to leave Bayern. The scorer took on Wednesday together with the German World Cup participants in Munich on the Säbener road on the preparation for the new season on.

It would appear that Lewandowski’s line of thinking may be that if he makes this a personal conversation about his desire to leave, the results may work more in his favor as opposed to the constant leaking of information likely driven by his agent, Pini Zahavi.

At this stage of the transfer window, it is highly unlikely that Bayern would consider parting with a productive talent like Lewandowski. Any move would require a subsequent transaction to acquire another true No.9 to lead the offense.
