Arturo Vidal’s career with Bayern Munich may be coming to an end. Per a report by Tuttosport that was captured by Calciomercato, Inter Milan is taking the necessary financial steps to acquire Vidal after the midfielder verbally committed to the club.
The Nerazzurri club has already collected the “yes” of Vidal, who had already agreed to move to Milan a year ago, with Inter out of the cups. In the next few hours the deal could be unblocked thanks to the sale of Joao Mario: the Portuguese, back from the loan to West Ham, is closer to complete. Seville and Everton have set eyes on him and could please the Nerazzurri, who evaluate the former Sporting 27 million euro.
As noted above, Inter Milan wants to sell Joao Mario to help generate funds and to clear roster space before making formal offer to Vidal.
The number one goal of sports director Piero Ausilio is Arturo Vidal, expiring in 2019 with Bayern Monaco and ready to return to Italy. “Vidal? Champions of great strength can help the team to achieve great goals,” said the managing director of the Nerazzurri Alessandro Antonello yesterday during the draw for the calendar of the next Serie A. On Vidal there are also Manchester United and Atletico Madrid. Inter is in a hurry to close and - as Tuttosport reports - has already started contact with Chilean agent Fernando Felicevich.
