Bayern Munich is always looking for different ways to connect to its fans and its collaboration with Apple Music is just another example. The exclusive cooperation between Bayern and Apple Music has been extended until June 30, 2019. The German record champions and the world-renowned music streaming service from the Silicon Valley first entered into this one of a kind partnership in 2017.
Exclusive content provided by Apple Music brings music fans and Bayern supporters even closer to their favorite team and stars. Music favored by the Bayern players and related playlists are made available on the reigning German champions’ official website, and via the FC Bayern curator profile on Apple Music. Furthermore, new customers can test Apple Music for three months free of charge.
Apple Music also created an exclusive FCB playlist for FC Bayern Munich’s upcoming United States tour, which sees coach Niko Kovač and his team visit Philadelphia and Miami from July 23-29. As part of the “Audi Summer Tour 2018”, the German record champions will contest two top-class matches against Turin giants Juventus (Philadelphia, July 25) and Manchester City (Miami, July 28).
Available since 2015 for iOS, watchOS, OS X and an Android version in over 100 countries, the music streaming service currently has over 40 million subscribers and offers over 45 million songs. The announcement is further complemented by the previous partnership extension between FC Bayern Munich and Beats by Dr. Dre which also runs until June 30,e 2019. Beats by Dr. Dre, founded in 2006 in the USA and a division of Apple Inc. since 2014, equips the German champions with high-quality headphones and loudspeakers.
