The most recent report from Kicker suggests that Manuel Neuer and Kingsley Coman, who have been out due to long-term injuries, will return to the squad before the end of the season. Neuer completed parts of the team training on Thursday, though he was not in goal during a game. The German international is set to return on twelfth of this month by replacing Sven Ulreich when Bayern Munich play their last league match of the season against Vfb Stuttgart at the Allianz Arena.
Coman, on the other hand, trained individually in the morning and is expected to return for the DFB cup final against Eintracht Frankfurt on May 19. He sounded extremely confident about his return while talking to SportBild on Tuesday:
I’m getting better. Maybe I can play against Stuttgart on the final day. I’m sure I can play in the DFB-Pokal final (May 19th).
Furthermore, the article aslo indicates that the entire group of injured players including Arjen Robben, Arturo Vidal, Jerome Boateng and Bernat – who suffers from muscular problems – will miss Saturday’s match against an already relegated FC Köln.
