In an interview with SportBild, Kingsley Coman laid out his plans on a return to Bayern Munich. Coman, who has been injured since undergoing ankle surgery in February, has hopes of making it back in time to finish the Bundesliga season.
I’m getting better. Maybe I can play against Stuttgart on the final day. I’m sure I can play in the DFB-Pokal final (May 19th).
Coman, who was tremendous prior to his injury, has seven goals and eight assists in 32 appearances this season. His presence on the wing will be a key feature for the Bayern attack in the future, so the club has monitored the Frenchman’s progress with extra caution.
As reported in the Daily Schmankerl yesterday, Torben Hoffman of Sky Sports posted a video of Coman working out at Säbener Straße.

Sieht schon sehr rund aus! Individuelle Einheit in München! @SkySportNewsHD @SkySportDE @FCBayern pic.twitter.com/9KRqlES5lr
Coman is also eager to return as soon as possible in an effort to regain his form prior to the World Cup, where he is expected to contribute for France. With serious competition at the wing position from the likes of Ousmane Dembele, Anthony Martial and Kylian Mbappe among others, Coman will be in a constant battle for playing time with Les Bleus.
